Truely, the roles of such individuals are unquantifiable and their place in history often dominates strategic spaces because of conspicuous nature of humanitarian activities involved.
It's an obvious truth also that the sacrifices by such nobilities are challenging and unimaginable but those that are cut out for such strategic but impacting services usually go out of their way to abandon their comfort zones just to ensure they play such divine driven roles that entails capacity, commitment, diligence and patriotism.

It has become a known truth that she is always on hand when sacrifices are made to build and pave way for a better society. Unlike those who dodge and flee from the scene when there's need to make commitments and necessary sacrifices, Princess Calista Anene is always there to stake her all in taking the lead amidst daunting challenges.
To demonstrate her passion in serving humanity, Princess Anene took the pace in 2015 and 2019 election years respectively left her comfort zone in Canada to join coalition of Progressive political forces in fighting against familiatocratic Government in the state under the then Governor Rochas Okorocha.
She saw it as a patriotic duty to be part of the movement to reset the State politically and to go the whole hug, she contested for the ticket of All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA to represent her good people of Oguta State Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly. When the ticket she worked so hard to clinch under a highly competitive and keenly contested primary was unjustly snatched from her, instead of staying aloof licking her wounds and counting her losses rather as a lady with patriotic zeal and passion, she was not discouraged in her dogged commitments in the struggle to dismantle bad governance in the state.
Other opposition forces within the coalition sought her support and cooperation to ensure political supremacy thus she deployed her political arsenals and strategic pedigrees, making it easy for the opposition PDP cruised into victory in Oguta Ameshi and entirety of Oguta State Constituency during the election.
However, when the Supreme Court of Nigeria discovered the electoral fraud committed against the gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, and revalidated his mandate as the duly elected Governor of Imo State, the 3R Shared Prosperity government of Governor Uzodimma on assumption of office was vocal in her clear mission of consolidating on the progress and development of the state.
This prompted the promoters of the government to look for credible leaders with character and grassroots appeal to stabilize the political system of the state.
More so,the Governor at that point in time needed true and reliable friends that can help in providing the needed basement at the grassroots. Oguta Ameshi, being a sensitive and strategic part of the state where advance politics holds sway was important to the Governor but there was a seeming vacuum to fill. Someone with courage and capacity to weather the storms of anti Uzodimma forces were of essence at that all important moment.
It became a hercluean task to identify who can volunteer to provide the expected platforms for solid leadership and form the basement as a political rallying point. Unfortunately, there was no strong and visible person with the wherewithal, passion, patriotic and grassroots followership to do the needful. Behold, it was based on conviction that the Amazon had to rise to accept the challenges. Thus, Princess Calista Anene who relied so much on her infectious grassroots support base and wherewithal to mobilize effectively was clamoured for and she availed herself to answer the clarion call.
She left the comfort of her Canadian base and headed home at the peak of the Covid 19 pandemic. She came and championed the Uzodimma crusade in Oguta for good governance. Her indomitable presence set the stage and the deed was done. She deployed her foundation alongside political tentacles to team up with already existing supporters of the Governor to forge a stronger and formidable grassroots base for 3R mantra in the volatile Oguta Ameshi kingdom.
Anene has worked tirelessly putting everything at her disposal and stuck her neck even when security was problematic. Governor Uzodimma in his usual magnanimity and show of appreciation recognized her with the position of Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Social Development and Humanitarian Affairs.
She deployed the office judiciously to advance the course of the 3R mantra and Shared Prosperity Government that are patriotically committed in solving the state problems and empowering the citizens. Indeed the Princess of Oguta Ameshi gave good account of herself in using the office to touch lives and also galvanized support for the government.
Again, when it became necessary to utilize the party structure to create awareness and boost the ruling APC, she responded to the clarion call by seeking for the ticket of the party for state Assembly position.
Out of shear patriotism, she took a break from Canada and returned home to join in strengthening, APC as a political party by contesting for the primary election. Despite the fact that she could not make it due to inhouse arrangement and certain interventions from the above that narrowed the coveted ticket to one of the Aspirants. Since then, despite pressures from opposing political parties she has vehemently refused to withdrawn her support and continued loyalty to the Governor and the ruling party.
Princess Calista Anene has remained a consistent and unrepentant loyalist of the Governor and have vowed to continue to build bridges and support platforms for the ruling political party.
To say that the Oguta Ameshi Princess came , saw and weathered the political storm is not an over statement. She came when many couldn't stand to be counted but she surmounted daunting Thomases to take the lead and engraved her name in prudent political history. After the stress, the Amazon requested for a break on health ground to get herself fit and prepared for the mother of all contests ahead which comes in form of 2023 general elections and 2024 gubernatorial election.She is on sabbatical to help herself health wise and overhaul her businesses and family setting.
Like an Army General who knows the strategic tactics of winning battles, Anene has undoubtedly retreated to her comfort zone to equip herself ahead of the titanic political battle. While in Canada at the moment, the Princess is still working from there to keep the political home front aglow. She campaigns from there and contributes usefully to the raging political debates and discussions.
