Before the emergence of Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma Imo State was a state where criminals and hoodlums cash out on daily basis, making kidnapping and armed robbery a lucrative business. Imo people find it very difficult to go out and do their daily business, find it difficult to go to their farm because this fear of being kidnapped, raped or even killed by the bandit.
Also before January 2020, Owerri metropolis being the capital of Imo State does not have a motorable road, roads that lead to the capital were all death traps because hoodlums usually take and sees it as an an advantage to terrorise people.
But now all these has long became things of the past as Imo people are massively coming back to celebrate Christmas and New year with their love ones and can now sleep with their two eyes closed and go about doing their business and going to their farms without the fear of being kidnapped, raped or killed by the enemies of Imo State. In Imo State today you can drive from Orlu to Owerri with your eyes closed, drive through Owerri to Okigwe, Aba/Owerri road, Port Harcourt road, Mbaise road with joy in your heart, and so many other rural road that are seriously under construction.
Indeed God Almighty brought Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodimma to wipe out the tears and suffering of Imolites and gave him the Grace to listen and solve the road and insecurity problems of Imo.
