The Imo State Labour Party (LP) has extended an open invitation to former Governor Rt. Hon Emeka Ihedioha and his followers, asserting his value to any political party.
Dismissing speculations of closed doors, State Chairman Bar Callistus Ihejiagwa emphasized the party's stance on inclusivity in a joint statement with Secretary Engr Paulinus Udechukwu.
The LP clarified that decisions regarding membership lie solely with the State Executive members, urging interested parties to engage in ongoing registration and validation processes at the ward level.
Furthermore, the party urged the public to reject misinformation, attributing it to opposition parties' attempts to sow discord.
