NCWS Visits Ngor-Okpala LG boss Kizito Onuoha, Pledges Continuous Support

 


In a show of solidarity and support, the National Council of Women Society, NCWS, Ngor-Okpala Chapter have pledged their unwavering support to the Ngor-Okpala Sole Administrator, SOLAD, Hon Kizito Onuoha.


The group's delegation led by the president of the Association Mrs Okere  Martina, popularly called Lady T, made the declaration during a courtesy visit to the Ngor-Okpala SOLAD, last Friday.


Expressed their gratitude and admiration for Hon Onuoha’s innovative contributions, which have significantly impacted the council, the NCWS President congratulated the Ngor Okpala Solad on his well-deserved appointment describing him as one of the best things to have happened to the council area.


The Association president also seized the platform to declare the intention to represent Ngor,  Ihitte, Umukabia Ward 7 in the Legislative Arm of the Ngor-Okpala Local Government Area in the forthcoming LG election, expressing readiness to serve and bring remarkable change to the Council.


The outspoken Lady T while lauding Hon. Onuoha's appointment, described it as a testament to his exceptional leadership, hard work, and expertise and commended him on his efforts towards improving the welfare of the entire Local Government Area.



According to the leader of the group," We have come to identify with our brother, the council boss, and to give him every necessary support to drive the local government to greater heights.


"This visit presents an opportunity for us to formally welcome and interface with him and reaffirm our cooperation and support. We urged him to carry us along in the sphere of things and activities of the council."


In response, Hon. Kizito Onuoha promised to carry the association along in the activities of the council and work tirelessly towards their shared goals.


The visibly excited Council boss extolled the leadership of Ngor Okpala NCWS, commending Mrs. Okere for her support before and after his appointment as SOLAD. 


The soft-spoken Solad encouraged all women in Ngor-Okpala to be active in politics, noting that if Ngor- okpala can produce a national president of NCWS in the person of Hon.Nkechi, they can do more.
