MGBEAHURUIKE, COMMISSIONER FOR LIVESTOCK DEVELOPMENT, MEETS WITH STAFF OF HIS MINISTRY.


 

Dr Anthony Mgbeanurike who assumed duty two weeks ago as the Hon Commissioner in charge of Ministry of Livestock Development met with the staff of his ministry today, the 3rd of April, 2025.

Addressing staff of the ministry during the meeting, Dr. Mgbeahuruike thanked his Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma for finding him worthy once again to be part of his admistration, having  appointed him as a commissioner on two occasions.




Dr Mgbeahuruike frowned  at the nonchalant attitude of workers towards regular attendance to work. He further enjoined them to be humble, obedient and discharge their duties diligently in order to move the ministry to a greater height, while urging the staff to work in unity.


He enjoined the staff to always feel free to bring up meaningful ideas that would help the Ministry achieve it's mandates. He also emphasized on the need for all revenues generated under the ministry is paid into the TSA account.





While welcoming the Hon. Commissioner,  the Covering Duty Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Dr Iroh Gabriel  expressed optimism that the appointment of Dr. Mgbeahuruike would boost productivity through the hardwork of his staff who are readly poised for service delivery. He finally assured the Hon Commissioner of the unflinching support and cooperation of the Ministry's staff for the purpose of meeting its mandate.


The HOD Livestock and Animal Husbandry Department, Dr Mrs. Ngozi Lumanze congratulated the Hon commissioner  on his reappointment, while urging him to see the need to collaborate with the Federal Ministry of Livestock Development to bring the dividends of democracy to the State Ministry of Livestock Development.
