The Special Adviser to imo state government on political matters, Chief Perry Opara has declared that Governor Hope Uzodimma has successfully positioned Imo State on the global economic map, following the remarkable achievements recorded at the recently concluded Imo Economic Summit.
Opara made this assertion while speaking with journalists, noting that the summit has opened an entirely new chapter for economic growth, investment opportunities, and international partnerships for the state.
According to Opara, the Imo Economic Summit was not just an event but a strategic turning point that showcased Imo to the world as a viable destination for investment, innovation, and sustainable development.
He explained that the calibre of participants, the depth of discussions, and the investment commitments secured during the summit were clear indications that Imo State is now recognised beyond national borders.
He noted that under Governor Uzodimma’s leadership, Imo State has moved from being a domestically focused economy to one with global relevance.
“The Governor has taken Imo to the global map. The Imo Economic Summit proved that our state can attract international investors, global brands, and development partners who are ready to work with us,” Opara said.
