The Chief Political Adviser and Head of Political Bureau to the Imo State Government, Chief Perry Opara, has commended Governor Hope Uzodimma for his strategic leadership and contributions to the electoral successes of All Progressives Congress (APC), describing him as a key pillar in the party’s growth and stability in Nigeria.
Chief Opara made this known in Abuja where he was privileged to serve as a guest speaker at the inauguration of the APC Support Group Leaders Forum, a gathering of party mobilisers and grassroots coordinators from across the country.
Speaking at the event, Opara who is also, the Chairman of National Forum for Political Adviser of Nigeria said , Governor Uzodimma has continued to play a significant role in strengthening the APC both at the state and national levels. He noted that the Governor’s leadership style, political experience, and commitment to party unity have contributed immensely to the victories recorded by the APC in recent elections.
According to him, Governor Uzodimma has consistently demonstrated capacity in mobilising support, managing party structures, and ensuring cohesion among stakeholders, which he said are critical factors in winning elections.
“Governor Hope Uzodimma remains a strong force within the APC. His ability to unify party members, drive grassroots mobilisation, and maintain political stability has contributed significantly to the success of the party. His leadership continues to inspire confidence across the country,” Opara stated.
He further emphasised that the success of any political party is largely dependent on the strength of its grassroots structures, noting that support groups play a vital role in bridging the gap between the leadership and the people.
Chief Opara encouraged members of the APC Support Group Leaders Forum to remain committed, organised, and focused in their mobilisation efforts, stressing that their contributions are essential in sustaining the dominance of the APC ahead of future elections.
He also reiterated the importance of loyalty, discipline, and collective responsibility within the party, urging members to align with the vision of the national leadership and work towards the continued growth of the APC.
The inauguration of the APC Support Group Leaders Forum brought together key stakeholders and party mobilisers, marking another step towards strengthening the grassroots base of the party nationwide.
Chief Opara concluded by reaffirming the commitment of Imo State under Governor Uzodimma to continue supporting the APC and contributing meaningfully to its national success.
