In a remarkable display of grassroots leadership and political sagacity, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Kennedy Ikenna Odoeme, a prominent political leader, Human capacity development czar and former Aspirant for 2027 IMO North Senatorial election has successfully rallied thousands of APC members from Dimneze Ward, Ihitte Uboma Local Government Area of Imo State to nominate and vote massively for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the standard flag bearer of the All Progressive Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The massive mobilisation exercise, which took place in Dimneze Ward, drew an overwhelming crowd of party faithfuls, including women, youth, elders, and support groups. Eyewitnesses described the atmosphere as electric, with supporters chanting slogans like “Tinubu 2027!”, “Renewed Hope Continues!” and “Odoeme Leads the Way!” as they converged at Community Primary School 1 in Dimneze, the venue for the Presidential Primary Election where President Tinubu garned a massive five thousand three hundred and eight six votes, a move which party leaders described as a strong demonstration of loyalty, unity, and confidence in the leadership of President Tinubu and the Renewed Hope Agenda of the federal government.
Hon. Odoeme, known for his Empowerment Programs, people oriented projects and deep-rooted influence in Ihitte Uboma and the broader Okigwe Zone, addressed the mammoth gathering after the exercise in a passionate speech that highlighted President Tinubu’s transformative leadership since assuming office in 2023. He praised the President’s bold economic reforms, infrastructure initiatives, and commitment to national unity, describing Tinubu as the architect of a “New Nigeria” that is gradually emerging despite global economic headwinds.
“Today, we stand here not just as members of the APC in Dimneze Ward or Ihitte Uboma, but as proud Nigerians who have seen the vision and courage of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” Hon. Odoeme declared amid thunderous applause. “His Renewed Hope Agenda is delivering results – from road constructions to student loans, from security enhancements to power sector reforms. We in Imo State, particularly in this great ward, are saying with one voice: President Tinubu is our candidate for 2027. No alternative!”
Hon. Odoeme also touched on local issues, promising to continue championing the welfare of his people while aligning their aspirations with the broader national agenda of the APC. He urged party members to remain vigilant, united, and focused on the task ahead, warning against distractions from opposition elements.
