His address read,"it is a known fact that water is very essential in a health facility of this calibre. For this reason,I personally approached one of our illustrious sons of Ekwe ancient kingdom, Chief Dr. Morgan C. Onwenu with a plea that he should please come to our aid. He accepted, and single handedly funded the drilling of this  Borehole and its overhead tank and piping which the health centre is using today.

It is worthy of note to also let you know that in collaboration with the  former Chairman of Ekwe Networking Group,ENG,Dr. Calistus Iheme,we have succeeded in enrolling Ekwe Community Health Centre with the National Health Insurance Scheme,NHIS".

It further read,"having accomplished this,EDU went to Ekwe Secondary School (Ekwe Red) which had lost its old glory due mainly to vandalization and long years of neglect. In 2021, when the school lost accreditation for NECO,we again cried unto our compatriots both at home and in Diaspora on the need to not only restore the accreditation, but to also restore the  school to its old glory. Our people promptly answered by donating their hard earned money to this course.

Thus,we were able to get another 5 years accreditation on the condition that we built a computer lab and rebuilt all the fallen classroom blocks and facilities. I want to mention here that EDU has a comprehensive list of all our son's both at home and abroad who donated money and other resources to the building of all these projects. We will institute a hall of Fame for all of them which will be unveiled by end of this year".
