Eze Ogbonna Inaugurates New Amato Town Union Executives.

 


In a landmark event that marked yet another milestone in the journey towards peace, progress, and development in Amato  Autonomous Community in Obowo LGA of Imo State,  His Royal Highness, Eze Michael Iroanulam Ogbonna, the Eze Oha II of Amato, has officially inaugurated the newly elected executive members of the Amato Town Union.


The inauguration ceremony, which drew a large crowd of community members, elders, youth groups, and political stakeholders, was held at the community civic hall under a peaceful and cheerful atmosphere.


Delivering the keynote address at the event, Hon. Udoka Iwueke JP, a respected community leader and the APC youth leader in Imo state,  commended the monarch for his commitment to unifying the people and promoting participatory leadership. He described the inauguration as a clear demonstration of the renewed spirit of progress in Amato.



Hon. Iwueke charged the new executive members and the entire community to remain united, focused, and committed to the vision of a greater Amato. He cautioned against the negative influences of jealousy, backbiting, and envy, which he said have in the past slowed down development efforts in the community.


 “Amato is rising again, but this rise must be built on love, peace, and collective responsibility,” he said. “I urge all of us to bury differences and work with one heart for the good of our land.”



The newly inaugurated Town Union Executive Members are as follows:


1. Chief Kelechi Nwokenna – President General (PG)

2. Mazi Emeka Ejiole – Vice President General

3. Hon. Pius Dibia – Secretary

4. Arc. Udo Amanze – Assistant Secretary

5. Emmanuel Nzenwata – Financial Secretary

6. Mazi Vitalis Onyenehide – Treasurer

7. Comrade Chilaka Stanley – Youth Leader

8. Mbutu Peter – Public Relations Officer (PRO)

9. Ehirim Christopher – Welfare Officer

10. Mazi Ogu Chinedozie – Chief Provost

11. Hon. Chinwe Precious Anyanwu - Woman leader 


Other members of various sub-committees and advisers were also acknowledged during the ceremony as Chief Kelechi Nwokonna the new PG appointed Mr. Kelechi Azogiro as the new Coronation Committee Chairman. 


In his brief remarks, Eze Michael Ogbonna congratulated the new executive and reminded them that leadership is a call to serve. He urged them to always place the interest of the people above personal ambition, promising his full support and royal blessings.
