Nlemigbo inaugurates Mbaitoli APC ward chairmen campaign council

As part of the grassroots strategies to ensure checkmating any possible election malpractices by any of the opposition political parties in the Mbaitoli Council area of Imo State, Prince Marcellinus Nlemigbo (Marcon) has inaugurated the All Progressive's Congress, APC Ward Chairmen Campaign Council comprising the 12 wards that constitute the council area,


Nlemigbo who's the Chairman of the Local Government Area Campaign Council announced on Thursday during a crucial breakfast meeting with the party's council cum ward leaders at his Umudagu Mbieri ancestral compound.


He expressed optimism that the full members of the council area Ward's campaign council no matter their numerical strength and together with their chairmen will be inaugurated this Saturday at Ubomiri council area Secretariat of the party by, Chief Chinasa Opara, the Sole Administrator (Solad) of the council together with the political party council area party chairman.


While assuring that APC in Imo is not interested in losing any vote, Nlemigbo enjoined the party chieftains to support the political party leaders in their patriotic and compassionate efforts in building a strong and reliable political party that would be victorious in all the positions for the general elections.


Those announced by Nlemigbo as the ward campaign council chairmen and their wards are; Dr. Ken Uba, ( Amaike Mbieri), Barr. Kezie Ogazieche, (Ezinihitte Mbieri), Hon. Kelechi Obi, (Umuwagwu ), Họn. Chijioke Onumajuru (Ogwa 1), Họn. Wilson Nwafor, (Ogwa 2), Chief Ebubedike Ibekwe, (Afara Eziama),

 and Chief Barth Akuta, (Orodo A).


Others include; Barr. Abed Anyadike, (Orodo B), Chief Evan Ewurum, ( Ifakala), Chief Chris Nwabia, ( Umunoha/Afara), Chief Collins Obi (Ogbaku), and Dr. Martin Ekeh (Ubomiri).


Adding his voice, Chief Rufus Osueke (Ohamadike), the Director General of Akarachi Campaign Organization for Mbaitoli/ Ikeduru (Mbaike) Federal Constituency canvassed the need to adopt more women into the campaign councils.


Osueke also reiterated the need to caution against anti-party activities assuring that with unity of purpose, APC will retain her glorious victories in the State.


In his contribution, Mr. Chinonye Agugbo, the Chairman of APC in the Mbaitoli council area appealed for commitment among members noting that Governor Hope Uzodimma has done well in the council area and deserves maximum support and cooperation from the masses of the council area.


Also speaking, Hon. Innocent Ikpamezie, APC House of Assembly candidate for Mbaitoli State Constituency called on the party chieftains and faithful to have faith and confidence in the party's candidates in the forthcoming general elections.


Ikpamezie reemphasized his commitment to quality and effective representations if given the mandate.


He vowed to respect leaders, ran an inclusive leadership, and make the State Constituency a reference point to her contemporaries.

APC women leader flags off capacity-building workshop

The Ogun State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on has called on the newly elected Chairmen of the party at the ward level to hold their respective base firmly to ensure a more formidable APC ahead of 2023 general elections.


The Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the party in the State, Chief Yemi Sanusi, made the call, in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, while inaugurating the newly elected 236 ward chairmen.



The 236 Ward Chairmen took their oath of office at the Mitros Hall, Abeokuta, which was administered by the party’s lawyer, Hon. Abeeb Ajayi.
