Imo Tourism Commissioner Egemba Advocates Hospitality Sector's Role in Revenue Boosting.

 




Barrister Jerry Egemba, Imo State's Commissioner for Tourism, emphasized the pivotal role of the hospitality and tourism industry in enhancing the state’s internally generated revenue (IGR).

Encouraging hotels and tourist centers across the state to adopt global best practices in guest management, Commissioner Egemba addressed Protea Hotels as a Special Guest during this year’s Christmas tree lighting ceremony at the hotel premises.


He lauded the hotel's initiative to bring guests and clients together during the Christmas season, urging other hotels in the state to follow suit and embrace similar gestures.


In her welcome address, Jemima Odonkor, General Manager of Protea Hotels, emphasized the values of kindness, generosity, and the spirit of giving during the festive season. She expressed gratitude to their clients for their unwavering trust and support throughout the year.
