Imo LGA Election: Osuagwu Launches Campaign Structure

 


In preparation for the forthcoming Local Government Election in Imo State, Hon. Chukwuemeka Osuagwu, a chairmanship aspirant for Ezinihitte Mbaise Local Government under the All Progressives Congress (APC), has officially inaugurated his campaign structure.


During the event held at his residence in Ezinihitte Mbaise, Hon. Osuagwu articulated his vision for the area, promising visible evidence of progress within 100  days In Office if elected as Executive Chairman. He expressed his commitment to serving the community and utilizing his experience to drive development in the region.


"I am the youngest aspirant in Ezinihitte Mbaise. My candidacy is motivated by a sincere desire to serve, not personal gain. I am dedicated to advancing the interests of Ezinihitte," he said.


Osuagwu's campaign slogan, "Ezinihitte: Turning Point Begins Now," underscores his focus on key areas such as empowerment, quality education, infrastructure development, and healthcare delivery. He acknowledged the current developmental shortcomings of Ezinihitte Mbaise and pledged to use his resources to foster significant improvements.


He also indicated that his political ambitions extend beyond the role of Local Government Chairman, aiming to build a track record of achievement that will support future electoral opportunities.


Osuagwu urged his campaign team to promote his manifesto in rural areas, stressing the importance of a robust campaign structure to achieve his objectives. He called on members to work together to transform Ezinihitte Mbaise.


The campaign structure coordinator, Ezeji I.G. Nworji, praised Osuagwu for his humility and capability, expressing confidence in the team's effectiveness and promising to enhance the structure with additional members.


Chief David Eze Nwoke, former APC LGA Chairman, lauded Osuagwu as a valuable party member with significant contributions at various levels. He urged the campaign team to support Osuagwu, despite challenges in the harmonization process for the LGA election.


Engr. Geoffrey Ihemadu supported the notion that it is time for Ezi West, Osuagwu’s area, to produce the next Executive Chairman. Lady Norah Anosike also expressed her support, highlighting the positive changes that Osuagwu’s leadership could bring to Ezinihitte Mbaise.
