“Tears roll my cheeks whenever I see families rent their clothes, go naked on the street and roll on the ground for the reason of a family member being a victim of organ harvesting”
The term organ harvesting which is called organ trafficking or organ theft is the forced or intimidative removal of organs from a person, often for the purpose of selling them on the black market or for transplantation. This act can lead to;
1. Physical harm e.g disability or death.
2. Emotional trauma .g anxiety, depression or posttraumatic stress disorder.
3. Human rights visitation.
It is certainly real that so many factors can lead to this act e.g;
i. *Poverty*: Desperation and financial need might lead people to this act.
ii. *Corruption*: Corrupt officials or medical professional might be complicit in this business.
iii. *Greed*: The desire for fractional gain or power.
iv. *Lack of empathy*: Perpetrators have a distorted view about human life.
Organ harvesting emanates as a result of
i. *Organ shortages* The demand for organs often exceeds supplies, creating a lucrative black market which is generated by the medical practitioners in our various hospitals who would prefer to kill the innocent school boy or the hawking fatherless girl on the street, or a tired civil servant going back home after a hectic day, so as to keep alive one of their patients that has promised them all monies on earth.
Permit me to say here that I am sorry for such medical practitioner who has not considered the future of his/her children/family before going into such dastardly act.
ii. *Medical tourism:* Again, the ease of travelling across borders for medical treatment can facilitate organ harvesting. Instead of those that travel to abroad for treatment to go with their family members as their donors, No! they prefer to pay the young hustling Nigerians to kidnap a vulnerable citizen and sell his/her organs to them for the medical trip to be possible.
It is regrettably known that the people that suffer the intimidation are the middle and lower class individuals.
Again the people that are used to perpetuate the act are the frustrated youths of Nigeria from the same middle and lower class, and the people that use them are the medical practitioners and their wealthy clients.
Yes the medical practitioners are the major cause of organ harvesting, check it outside and center, if there is no professional involve in the harvesting, the organ will die immediately and can not be used for transplant purposes, but because of the involvement and presence of a medical practitioner, the life of the organ is taken care of and preserved.
Consequently, the inglorious link of organ harvesting business can be deduced thus:
*Need an organ-Medical practitioner-Harvester-Victim*
It is only the medical practitioner that knows how to harvest and preserve organs for medical use, they are the only ones that can declare the organ good or bad, they know the legal or illegal sources of the organ, the people to use in harvesting the organ and amount to be paid, which proofs that they are integral part of the business. Yes, they know and have agents that provide organs for them and are ready to sacrificing innocent people to have their patients treated.
Permit me to ask, have they forgotten the law of gravitation? Which summarily states that anything that goes up must certainly come down.
*If I may ask,
How far with their families?
How far with their hospitals?*
Can we think of any of these hospitals where medical malpractices are done and are still in existence. Some handed over the hospitals to their children, they sold them and bought a rap of cocaine with the change, Tit for tat.
Finally, pitying the families of these perpetrators and the uncontrollable dangers ahead, I advice these three categories of persons,
1. *Families of medical practitioners*- Do you know the cause of the lingering problem and disorder in your families? Call any medical practitioner in the house
and plead with him or her to desist from organ harvesting, paying of the
perpetrators and recommendation for illegal provision of organs. Remind them that innocent souls are dying and their blood speaks against your homes.
2. *Government*- The government should as a matter of urgency brooker meetings with different bodies of the medical field and seriously caution them on the illegal means of organ provision. Other things and secrets are left for the government.
3. *The youth*- It is very obvious we are being used to harm our colleagues, brothers, sisters, little innocent girl and boy children. Let us know that these evil
medical practitioners are not thinking of our future but only how to satisfy their medical urge. Let us learn how to say NO, NO, NO to them on their useless illegal request for an organ harvest.
To the general public, please be your brother's keeper and always remember that the money gotten from evil investments and acts like organ harvesting will end up destroying your family.

FUTURE SHALL TELL”
