Honourable Engineer Emma Ihenacho, the Imo Prosperity Ambassador in the Diaspora, has extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, alongside other prominent dignitaries, to the Silver Jubilee and National Convention of the Orlu Regional Assembly USA (ORAUSA). The historic event is taking place from June 24 to 29 at the Sleepy Hollow Hotel and Conference Center, 455 South Broadway, Tarrytown, New York.
Engr. Ihenacho, a revered Nigerian political consultant in the United States and a leading technology expert based in San Francisco, California, also serves as the Principal Technology Architect at AbuchiNet Technology Consulting, a Silicon Valley-based firm. In his capacity as the South East People Assembly Coordinator in the USA, ISU National Convention Co-founder, and International Coordinator, Ihenacho has been a formidable voice in championing political development and good governance from the Diaspora, consistently promoting the activities and achievements of the Imo State Government since 1999.
In his goodwill message, Ihenacho acknowledged and welcomed other notable figures attending the convention, including Distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso, representing Imo West Senatorial District; Honourable High Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu Omeogo (Ogbaturuenyi Na Orlu), Member Representing Orlu, Orsu, and Oru East Federal Constituency; Eze Ndi Eze. Eze Dr. Ike Illomanaya, His Lordship Bishop Ukwuoma (Bishop of Orlu), Chief Jude Onwuemeka (Arriri Erimba), Orlu Zonal Assembly president (San Francisco affiliate), Commissioners and political appointees of the Imo State Government; all members of the National Assembly from the Orlu zone; illustrious sons and daughters of Orlu zone; and great leaders of Orlu origin within the Nigerian Diaspora community.
He described the ORAUSA Silver Jubilee as a significant milestone in the collective journey of unity, identity, and socio-cultural progress for the Orlu people in the United States and beyond. He seized the opportunity to celebrate and appreciate the tireless efforts of Chief Dr. Uzo Unegbu, National President of the Orlu Regional Assembly, and Prince Charles U. Duru, the National Vice President, for their unwavering leadership and organisational success in bringing together the Orlu community for this historic celebration.
The convention, which blends cultural pride with forward-looking dialogue, is expected to feature high-level engagements, networking, and strategic conversations on development opportunities for the Orlu zone and Imo State at large.
As a proud son of Orlu zone, Ihenacho reaffirmed his commitment to continue projecting the image and interests of his homeland while building transcontinental bridges of progress between Nigeria and the Diaspora.
