It was a journey into purpose and destiny on *Tuesday, September 16th*, as the *Director of Administration & General Services (DAGS), Mbaitoli LGA*, and founder of *Hope Alive World Outreach (HAWO)*, *Mrs. Chukwukadibia I.S ,hosted the *Light for Life Seminar*— a transformative event focused on empowering the youth of Mbaitoli.
In collaboration with the *Chairperson of Mbaitoli LGA, Lady Lemachi Nwanegwo*, the seminar brought together over *300 students* from various secondary schools across the local government area. The initiative aimed to address the *pressing developmental and emotional needs* of young people, positioning them for success in life and academics.
The event was graced by *highly esteemed dignitaries*, most notably the *Imo State Commissioner for Youth Development, Dr. Emeka Mandela*, who delivered a powerful *keynote address*. He urged the students to remain focused, disciplined, and committed to their education, while also warning them against peer pressure and destructive habits. Dr. Mandela praised Mrs. Chukwukadibia for her visionary leadership and community-driven passion.
Also present was the *Executive Chairman of Mbaitoli LGA, Hon. Ifunaya Nwanegwo*, who commended the DAGS for "thinking outside the box" in her efforts to uplift humanity. In a heartwarming gesture, he awarded *five full scholarships* to deserving students, sparking joy and hope among the attendees.
The seminar featured *seasoned resource persons* who delivered impactful talks on topics ranging from personal development, leadership, academic excellence, and mental health. The students were not only fed intellectually but also treated to a delicious lunch.
Indeed, *“Light for Life”* has lit a spark in Mbaitoli — one that promises to grow into a flame of transformation in the lives of these young future leaders.
