The Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Imo South, has announced a major citywide crusade and free medical outreach set to run from Wednesday, November 12, to Sunday, November 16, 2025, in Owerri, the Imo State capital. Themed “Great Redemption, Recovery, and Restoration through Jesus Christ,” the event will be held at Owerri City Primary School, Wetheral Road, opposite the Imo State Stadium.
Briefing journalists in Owerri, the State Overseer of the ministry, Pastor Emmanuel Okoro, explained that the upcoming crusade aims to bring hope, healing, and total redemption to attendees, meeting both their spiritual and physical needs. According to Pastor Okoro, who has served in ministry for over 40 years, this program combines gospel preaching with humanitarian outreach. “We are not only facing the problems of life spiritually but physically through the medical outreach. God has been faithful in performing signs and wonders, and we believe this crusade will mark another divine visitation for the people of Imo State,” he stated.
Throughout the five-day event, a professional team of doctors, nurses, and medical specialists will offer general health check-ups, screenings, consultations, and free medications to participants. Pastor Okoro emphasized that the initiative is open to everyone, regardless of background or denomination, and will include “Lunch Hour with Jesus” sessions at 1:00 p.m. and evening revival services at 4:00 p.m. Each day will feature anointed preaching, music by gospel artiste Israel Anyaele, testimonies, and special prayers.
Furthering its commitment to inclusivity, the ministry has arranged free transportation for participants coming from outside Owerri Municipal and has assured the public that adequate security measures will be in place. The program will culminate in a citywide Thanksgiving service on Sunday, November 16, where testimonies of healing and restoration will be shared.
Organizers encouraged residents of Imo State and neighboring areas to attend the crusade for an opportunity to experience both spiritual renewal and physical healing. The Deeper Christian Life Ministry reiterated its dedication to bringing salvation, deliverance, and care to the people of Imo State through both prayer and practical support.
