Mobilize Heavily for APC E-Registration — Opara Urges Aspirants

The Chief Political Adviser to the Governor of Imo State, Chief Perry Opara, has charged aspirants under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to mobilize massively for the ongoing APC e-registration exercise, describing it as a critical foundation for electoral success.

Chief Opara made this call during a stakeholders’ meeting held at his country home in Ihitte, Ezinihitte Mbaise, within the week, where party leaders, aspirants and grassroots mobilizers converged to deliberate on strategies for strengthening the party ahead of future elections.

According to him, aspirants must be willing to invest their time, energy and resources in attracting new members into the APC, stressing that a strong membership base remains the surest path to victory at the polls. He noted that those who desire electoral success must first show commitment to party growth and grassroots engagement.

He further urged aspirants to demonstrate loyalty and support to the party structure at all levels  ward, local government and state  emphasizing that APC can only thrive through collective effort, unity and internal cohesion.

To underscore his commitment to the success of the e-registration exercise, Chief Opara made a cash  donation of ₦200,000 to his ward for the engagement and payment of canvassers and agents tasked with mobilizing new members. In addition, he introduced a cash reward scheme for the canvasser and agent who records the highest number of registrations, a move aimed at boosting enthusiasm and competitiveness among mobilizers.

Earlier, during another stakeholders’ meeting at the local government level, the Chief Political Adviser again charged APC leaders to take the exercise to the grassroots, noting that effective mobilization begins from the wards and communities. He stressed that the success of the e-registration exercise would determine the strength and relevance of the party going forward.

In further demonstration of his support, Chief Opara donated an additional ₦200,000 to assist the e-registration exercise at the local government level, urging party leaders to deploy the resources transparently and efficiently to achieve maximum impact.

Chief Opara concluded by reaffirming his belief that a well-organized, grassroots-driven APC would not only consolidate its presence in Imo State but also position the party for sustained electoral victories, calling on all stakeholders to play their respective roles diligently.
