The Senator representing Imo West Senatorial District, Osita Izunaso, has announced plans to empower over six thousand constituents from Imo West.
According to a statement signed by his media team and made available to Lead Express, the empowerment programme is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, January 6, at the Senator’s country home in Ohakpu, Oru West Local Government Area, by 10:00 a.m.
The statement further disclosed that the Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, alongside other distinguished personalities, is expected to grace the occasion.
Recall that Senator Izunaso has made empowerment a core part of his public service, leading to the establishment of the popular Kpakpando Foundation, through which he has empowered thousands of Nigerians, with special focus on persons living with disabilities.
On October 30, 2025, the Senator empowered over five thousand beneficiaries with items including mini buses, tricycles, grinding machines, and sewing machines—an initiative that continues to attract widespread commendation.
Describing the upcoming programme as the “Mother of All Empowerments,”
Senator Izunaso urged prospective beneficiaries to make judicious use of the items, emphasizing that his continuous empowerment initiatives are part of his campaign promises to the people of Orlu Zone.
