The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), Imo State Chapter, has congratulated the Government and people of Imo State on the occasion of the state’s 50th anniversary.
In a congratulatory message jointly signed Zandas Okeke Otigba Chairman, NIPR Imo State Chapter and Ukana Omon Public Relations Executive, NIPR Imo State Chapter to mark the Golden Jubilee, the Institute described the 50 years of Imo State’s creation as a significant milestone, noting that since its creation in 1976, the state has continued to demonstrate resilience, creativity, and the enduring spirit of the Eastern Heartland.
The NIPR commended the Imo people for their collective contributions to the growth and development of the state, adding that the anniversary provides an opportunity to reflect on past achievements, celebrate present progress, and chart a path toward a more prosperous future.
The Institute also lauded Governor Hope Uzodimma and his administration for their commitment to infrastructural development and the implementation of the Shared Prosperity agenda, describing the leadership as timely and strategic for positioning Imo State on the path of sustainable growth and development.
