Hon Dr Mrs Chinwendu Edomobi Amba, Ugo Obowo 1, Pioneer FCT Focal Person on the Social Investment Programme and former Senior Special Assistant to the Minister of State, FCT, has congratulated Governor Hope Uzodimma and the people of Imo State on the celebration of the state’s 50 years anniversary.
The congratulatory message was contained in a press release signed by Dr Amba and made available to journalists in Owerri.
She described the golden jubilee as a historic milestone that reflects the resilience, unity and progressive spirit of the people of Imo State since its creation. According to her, the 50 years journey of the state is a testament to the collective sacrifices of past leaders and citizens who laid the foundation for its growth and development.
Dr Amba commended Governor Uzodimma for what she described as purposeful leadership and renewed commitment to infrastructural development, economic revitalisation and good governance. She noted that the present administration has continued to build on the ideals of progress and inclusiveness that define the Imo spirit.
She stated that the anniversary provides an opportunity for reflection on past achievements while charting a sustainable path for future development, urging Imo people at home and in the diaspora to renew their commitment to peace, unity and collective progress.
The former FCT aide further expressed optimism that with sustained visionary leadership, Imo State would continue to play a strategic role in national development and remain a source of pride to its citizens.
Dr Amba congratulated Governor Uzodimma once again and wished the government and people of Imo State a peaceful and successful 50th anniversary celebration, praying for greater achievements in the years ahead.
