Hon. Dr Mrs Chinwendu Edomobi Amba has successfully completed her doctoral studies and has been found worthy for the award of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management from Nasarawa State University, Keffi.
The distinguished public servant and community development advocate made this known in a message announcing the successful completion of her doctoral programme and expressing gratitude to God for the academic milestone.
According to Hon. Mrs. Chinwendu Edomobi Amba, the achievement marks the fulfilment of years of dedication, research and academic commitment aimed at contributing meaningfully to knowledge development in entrepreneurship and innovation management.
She noted that the official convocation ceremony for the award of the doctoral degree will take place on April 11 at the Nasarawa State University, Keffi campus, where graduating scholars will be formally conferred with their degrees.
In her message, Hon. Amba expressed appreciation to those who have stood by her throughout her academic pursuit and public service engagements. She described the achievement as a moment of gratitude to God and a renewed commitment to continue serving society through knowledge, leadership and empowerment.
Hon. Chinwendu Edomobi Amba, who holds the traditional title Ugo Obowo 1, and Ezinwa nwa nwere ugwu is widely known for her contributions to empowerment initiatives, youth development and educational support programmes. Over the years, she has supported students through sponsorship of JAMB and WAEC registrations, mentorship programmes and other educational interventions designed to assist young people in pursuing their academic dreams.
She has also been involved in youth engagement initiatives, including football tournaments and community development programmes aimed at promoting unity and constructive participation among young people.
Her career in public service includes serving as the Pioneer FCT Focal Person on the Social Investment Programme and as former Senior Special Assistant om Empowerment to the Honourable Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory. Through these roles, she contributed to the implementation of social intervention programmes targeted at supporting vulnerable citizens.
Hon. Edomobi Amba also contested as a Federal House of Representatives aspirant for the Okigwe South Federal Constituency during the 2022/2023 political cycle, reflecting her commitment to expanding her impact through legislative representation.
The attainment of the PhD degree further adds to her profile as a scholar, administrator and community leader committed to advancing entrepreneurship, innovation and human development.
