Recently, the Chief Political Adviser and Head of Political Bureau to the Government of Imo State, Chief Perry Opara interfaced with the Honourable Commissioner for Youth Development and Talent Hunt, Dr. Emeka Mandela Ukaegbu, where he appreciated the commissioner for his strategic role in youth empowerment and political mobilisation.
Opara thanked Ukaegbu for his efforts during and after the elections and described the Youth Development Ministry as a critical and respected office that blends politics with human capital growth.
According to Opara, the ministry’s initiatives under Ukaegbu's leadership align perfectly with the vision of Governor Hope Uzodimma, who is committed to infrastructural development, social investment, human capital growth, and political relevance for the benefit of Imo people.
In his response, Dr. Ukaegbu praised Chief Perry Opara, describing him as a master strategist in politics and a dedicated political adviser whose role continues to enhance government engagement and communication. He expressed appreciation for the visit and emphasised the importance of synergy between ministries and the Political Bureau to consolidate ongoing achievements.
“God used one man Senator Hope Uzodimma to restore peace in Imo State. Today, we have the time to tell the people about what the government has achieved,” the Commissioner declared. He also pledged to continue in the path of youth mobilisation and development and promised to sustain the gains of the ministry.
