Do Not Be Distracted by the ADC Coalition in Nigeria, Remain in APC – Ogu Tells Aboh Mbaise Party Faithfuls

Apex APC Leader in Aboh Mbaise and Camphope Coordinator, Chief Charles Ogu, has urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Aboh Mbaise to remain resolute and committed to the party, despite the ongoing talks about a coalition involving the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Nigeria.

The Meeting compromising the wards in NGURU bloc made up Nguru Nwekwo, Nguru Nweke, and Nguru Ahiato in Aboh Mbaise LGA of Imo State, where former Governor Emeka Ihedioha and other prominent politicians hail from, have been the focus of intense political manoeuvring aimed at wooing Mbaise into the ADC. However, Chief Ogu, taking the bull by the horns, convened the gathering of party faithfuls to reaffirm loyalty to the APC. The event also witnessed the defection of 55 members mainly  from PDP, Labour party and Apga  to the APC, led by the former PDP Woman Leader, Chinyere Chukwuocha, alongside other LGA leaders.

The gathering, which was well attended by traditional rulers, party stakeholders, security agencies, men, women, and youths numbering over 100, saw all present reaffirming their loyalty to the APC and their support for the government of Senator Hope Uzodimma.

The Presidents-General of the communities, alongside Women Leaders and union executives were also in attendance.

The gathering saw everyone  lauding and praising  Chief Charles Ogu for hosting such a well-organised and impactful programme, describing it as a demonstration of true leadership and party commitment.

“The APC is our home, and our collective future is brighter within its fold. Let no political coalition or propaganda make you doubt our direction,” Ogu said.

In her speech on behalf of the other decampees, Hon. Chinyere Chukwuocha assured of their loyalty and commitment to fully mobilise more people in support of the Hope Uzodimma-led government, while contributing their quota to the growth and continuous development of the APC.
