All roads lead to Umudo, Anara, in Isiala Mbano on the 18th of October 2020 as Mr. Ifeanyi N. Ndukwe (Nkenke Enyi, Mma Eji Egbu Ubiam) of Okohia in Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State, celebrates parents on Sunday October 18, 2020, in a grand style.
Ndukwe, an astute and cerebral journalist, based in Owerri, Imo State, whose journalistic prowess and agility has earned him a pride of place as the most revered Media Aide to the Deputy Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu, chose to celebrate his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Ndukwe alive through their wedding celebration.
Ifeanyi Ndukwe, who is popularly known as Nkenke Enyi and Mma Eji Egbu Ubiam, who makes no noise but radiates with ideas, thought it wise to celebrate his parents, who he loves and respects so dearly, while they are alive.
Though the last born of his parents, Ifeanyi had this to say: "In short my parents mean everything to me in life. No matter whatever I do for them, it can not equate to what they did for my siblings and I, in giving birth to us and rearing us to become somebody in life. Each time I see my mother, I remember that music 'Sweet Mother,' by the late musician Nicko Mbaga. I equally lack words to describe my father. Is it the selfless efforts he made to ensure that he put food on the table for his family or the discipline he instilled in us his children, to make sure that we grew up responsibly, which is the bedrock upon which we are making progress today.
The occasion, expected to draw the creme de la creme of the Imo and Nigerian society, including the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Amara Chyna Iwuanyanwu and his entourage, as well as the candidate of the Action Alliance (AA), the erudite Dr. Emmanuel Ogueri, a great son of Okohia in Isiala Mbano and his entourage, will be marked with pump and circumstances, where the great music meastro ND Stanley Nnorom, aka Onye Arabanko, will treat all to fantastic tunes that will earn the attendees worth for their participation. The reception will take place at Umudo Anara Hall, Isiala Mbano LGA, Imo State. Certainly, it shall be a worthy occasion to behold.
