In a remarkable demonstration of grassroots impact and community upliftment, the Amaroy Foundation has empowered and supported several rural individuals and families through a multi-pronged outreach initiative focused on economic empowerment, healthcare, and education.
As part of its ongoing mission to alleviate poverty and promote sustainable livelihoods, the foundation successfully empowered three rural residents with startup resources for poultry farming. Each of the beneficiaries : Mr George Eneremadu, Ugoeze Elizabeth Unanka, & Mrs Rose Njoku all from Mbaise received training, 200 day-old chicks, feeds, drugs and housing materials to kickstart their agribusiness journey. This intervention is expected to not only provide income but also improve nutrition in their communities.
In a heartwarming act of compassion, Amaroy Foundation also paid over one million naira outstanding hospital bills for three women who recently delivered their babies through cesarean sections at New Creation Hospital Orji in Owerri North LGa, Imo state but were unable to pay for their medical expenses. Their families expressed deep gratitude, describing the intervention as “a timely miracle.”
In a separate empowerment initiative, the Foundation identified and supported a physically challenged man Ifeanyi Nnanna at Umualum Nekede Owerri West LGA Imo state struggling to sustain his electronics repair business. He was gifted a brand-new generator and cash support to improve his operations, significantly boosting his productivity and independence.
The Foundation also attended his mother's burial and offered him condolence cash support.
Education support also featured prominently in the Foundation’s latest activities. The NECO examination fee for an indigent student Abraham Gideon of Mbaise Secondary School was fully paid to enable the student sit for the critical exam and pursue further education without disruption.
The Foundation also offered his bed ridden father cash support.
Further spreading its impact, the Foundation established two provision shops for two persons Chibuike Njoku and Egonna Nwogbo in underserved communities . Each received goods worth over one million naira, shop rents paid, brand new generator, freezer and stabilizer and mentorship to help manage and grow their retail business sustainably.
Speaking on the outreach, the Founder of Amaroy Foundation Dr. Roy Kelechi Nwakamma of Ezinihitte Mbaise emphasized the organization's commitment to “empowering lives, restoring dignity, and building resilient communities through practical, people-centered support.”
The latest interventions reaffirm Amaroy Foundation's growing role as a catalyst for change in rural and marginalized communities, offering hope and tools for self-reliance one person at a time in line with the Foundation's motto: "Empowering people for better tomorrow" and its slogan: Sharing, Caring & Caring .
